How to make Aloo Paratha Quickly

Aloo Paratha Recipe 

Aloo Paratha Aloo Paratha is staple food in North India. It is crispy from outside and soft and spicy from inside. Mostly paratha eats with yogurts ,pickle and butter. 

 Ingredients 
 2 Cup whole wheat flour.
 1/2 tsp salt. Water as per need. 
1 tsp ghee or oil. 

 For Filling 
 3 Medium size potato,
boiled an mashed. 
1 small onion, finely chopped. 
1 tsp ginger. 1/2 tsp cumin seed. 
1/2 tsp red chili powder. 
1/2 tsp garam masala.
 1/2 tsp amchur powder. 
coriander leaves. 
Salt. 
Ghee/oil roasting. 

 Procedures 
 A) Preparing the Dough 
 1) Combine whole wheat flour & salt. 
2) Add 1 tsp of ghee or oil.
 3) Gradually add water and knead into smooth pliable dough cover and let it rest for 20 min. 

 B) Making Filling 
1) Mash the boil potatoes until smooth 
2) Add chopped onions, green chillies,ginger and cumin seeds. 
3) Season with red chili powder, garam masala, amchur and salt. 
4) Mixed in the chopped coriander leaves ,adjust the seasoning as needed. 

 C) Assembling the Parathas.

 1) David the dough & potato filling into equal sized ball.
 2) Roll out a dough ball into small circle and place the filling in the center.
 3) Gather the edges & seal the dough, pinching off excess dough as needed.

 4) Gently roll it out into medium thick paratha.

 D) Cooking the Paratha. 

1) Heat the tawa on medium heat 
2) Place the paratha on hot tawa & cook until the bubbles appear. 
3) Flip & apply ghee or oil 
4) Flip again & cook again until golden. brown with crisp spot.

 Important Tips
 1) Ensure the mashed potatoes are smooth to avoid tearing of paratha. 
2) Adjust spice level according to your preference. 
3) Cook on medium heat to ensure even cooking. 
4 ) Serve the hot for the best.
